The process of biofeedback is a method which employs special, non invasive instruments that are attached to the body to ‘feed back’ information that helps an individual correct given conditions.

A good, everyday example would be the use of a mirror to help with makeup or combing hair – the mirror is a biofeedback device. EEG Biofeedback and Neurofeedback are terms used when the treatment involves the brain. Practice is key to creating lasting, beneficial behavior.

Changes in brain wave patterns can be readily felt and experienced, while observed on instruments, usually projected onto monitors or computer screens.

This type of ‘feedback treatment’ is known as EEG Biofeedback, or Neurofeedback. It allows an individual to learn how to modulate and self-regulate their brain activity.
